- Movements through our site - We keep track of the pages you visit to help us provide a more personalized and relevant shopping experience. If you are placing an order, we collect information that is relevant to processing an order, such as shipping, billing and payment information. We retain credit card data on the Order page for 30 days. After 30 days, the credit card number and expiration date is deleted from the system for your security. The rest of the order information remains for our records..
How do we collect the information?
Our site uses a secure server for the checkout process (see our Security Policy). The pages you access after clicking the “Checkout” button in your shopping cart allow us to safely and securely obtain contact information (email, address, & phone number) and payment information (credit card number and expiration date) through an encrypted connection. This information is used to process your order and respond to any questions you may have.
Lastly, we may from time to time request some of our customers to complete a voluntary survey. Survey answers are confidential and help us improve the quality of our products and services. If you do not wish to participate in a survey, simply decline to participate when asked.
What do we do with the information we collect?
Sunburst Knobs does not loan, rent or sell your personal information to any third parties. We only use the information you provide to fulfill your order and provide order status. If necessary we also share this information with certain intermediaries (such as UPS) strictly to process and ship your order. Sunburst Knobs does reserve the right to sell customer data in conjunction with a sale of the company or any of its assets.
