Lacquered Collection Gallery

We are pleased to offer eight unique lacquered knobs in both small (1.5" diameter) and large (2" diameter) sizes. These knobs are produced using recylced mango wood. Because mango trees cultivated for commercial production have a limited life-span, rotating mango orchards provide a sustainable supply of this wood that would otherwise be burned as firewood. Skilled artisans from Rajasthan, India produce these hand-turned and hand-lacquered knobs using age-old traditions. These knobs also have hand-formed brass fittings from workshops of traditional metalworkers.
